i have a meduim size one that is stuck to the top of the over flow baffel, i would like to move him to the bottom of the tank where the clown fish is hanging around to help them try to get together.

he seems really stuck where he is at, i tried to peel him off but i felt like if i tried harder he would be damaged and then i tried a power head clowing on him for a day to help push him over also , no go.

anyhelp or ideas how to mate them up or to move the anemone would be great

Put some RO water (this is best in case the bag breaks) in a baggie and freeze it. Use the edge of the baggie to gently touch the edge of anemone. It won't like the cold and will start to curl away from it. You can move the whole thing that way or use a plastic spatula to carefully move between it and the wall once you get it started, but don't force it. If that foot rips you'll have a problem. Many people have used credit cards, but with a carpet I'd used the spatula so you can keep some distance from it and your skin. Hope that works. Marcye

Also, you might try this trick to get the carpet to stay put. Scoop out the sand near the base of a slight overhang. Take it all the way to the glass and then make a bowl shape out of the depression. Put the anemone's foot on the glass. Mine has been in the same place for almost 2 years...on the bottom right of the tank. Just make sure he'll get plenty of light and good flow.
