Well since your in Canada, I think I would leave it out on the deck for a few days. Bring it in and let it thaw, give it a scrub.
Siphon out while GENTLY pulling off.
Get a herd of Emerald crabs and fix your parameters.
In the end it's about getting your water flow and water parameters in check.

Well, You just soaked it vinegar.Thanks for the link, very informative.
So I didn't have any bleach laying around but had some white vinegar. I put it in a tub of straight vinegar to soak for a day or two and will give it a thorough scrubbing afterward. Do you think that will do anything? Figured if it works to soak my tank equipment, it might work for this.

Great!This rock is not porous though, it's just synthetic, no holes, so I imagine scrubbing the exterior should get the job done...hopefully![]()
