How to pair a blue throat?

I bought a pair of blue throat triggers but the male died in quarantine. I don't want just a female, as this is a plain looking fish.

If I do nothing, will my female eventually start showing male colors?

If I add a female, will one eventually turn male?

If I add a male, will they get along or fight?

Let's see; if it's a female, it's a female they are not hermaphrodite. But to definitively sex a female I've found they have to be over 4", any smaller and it could be an immature male not displaying colors yet. If you are 100% sure it is a female and you add another male they will not fight; they may bond or show indifference to each, or occasionally hang out like buds,

The 1st husband of my female jumped, they were bonded in qt and lived in a 210. I added another male, they hang but not near the bond she had with her 1st husband.
