How to post a pic using a free service such as Photobucket

Wow that's great of you for spending all the time to make that. Sadly im trying to do this on an ipad and it looks completely different

Just use Facebook...I created a storage album that only I can see and dump all forum photos there.

Click the pic to make it big, right click / copy link location / insert copied link into forum using img brackets...

How do you create the storage album on Facebook?
 
@aquarist007 just like any other album. I created it, labeled it "picture storage" and set security to just me so only i Can view.

Even thought in Facebook, only you can view it, you can still link directly to the picture.

How do you get the image code without a mouse to right clic on it in Facebook. I'm using an ipad

Hmmm...good question. I am an Android freak because I like control over my Tech...Grabbed my wife's iPad and I opened the pic in a new tab then copied the URL..haven't tested it yet though...got distracted. Give it a shot...will try myself when I get home
 
Thank you so much for this thread. I followed it step by step and within 5 minutes I could post a picture. Very well done, easy to follow, you should get an award
 
If you use the direct link, the picture won't be linkable.
Saves inadvertent new windows when reading posts on a tablet.
