ok guys/gals i've got an issue with my tank. i've currently got cheato in my display area and would like to remove it. i've tried the picking out manually but some of it is stuck onto the LR. My question is should i just pick up a Tang to eat it up or should i manually continue to remove it. I'm looking for some kind of prefilter for my return pump so that i dont have this issue any longer. any suggestions would be great. thanks.

Me personally I dont really have the room to hous a tang longterm and would opt to exhaust my picking abilities. It can be tough sometimes as they can cork screw into nooks and crannies pretty good. The God send? They dont lay roots in them! That being said, some persistance and some raw fingertips and they'll come free. Ive even waited a few weeks to let the strand grow a lil longer so I can get a better hold.

Good luck, the silver lining too is at least it aint Calaurpa! ;)
