How to ship probes?

I sold my Aquacontroller and need to know how to ship the probes? I do not have the little plastic end caps that came with it. What is the best way to ship them, so they don't dry out? Will only be in mail a few days, but don't want them ruined, as they are only 3 months old .

put a wet paper towel soaked in ph 4 calibration solution. put a small bag with the same solution. rubberband it real tight on the probe and you should be good to go.
