I have a Tunze Osmolator, and it has been working flawlessly on my 6 gallon nano. Now if I am going to add a kalk dispenser, I'm worried that the output may be a little too fast and spike the pH too quickly on such a small volume. Is there a method to slow down the pump? The pump is already operating at 9v.
What if I put a valve on the output of the valve to slow down the flow? Is the back pressure going to do much to the pump? And does the back pressure relieve itself into the reservoir after the pump stops, or does it continue to push water into the tank?
Thanks.
