How to trap my blue devil Damsel?

I'm using a crude trap i bought and have food in it. The damsel doesn't take the bait. I've actually caught him in the trap before and was convinced to put him back in the tank (bad idea). He's been in almost a year. All seemed fine until one day he decided to turn on a goby and kill it. I want to put some peppermint shrimp in to help with the aiptasia problem and want him out so he doesn't kill them.

Any suggestions on what kind of bait to put in the trap?

If you have a trap, tape a mirror at the end. The damsel will see its reflection and think it is an unyielding intruder. After a short time it should try to attack that intruder and you got him.
