There's absolutely nothing wrong with experimenting, I do it all the time.
When I mentioned it in the lineage thread, I wasn't saying that I intentionally do this for a reason, or that I do it at all. I was merely making a point that it can be done but I would never advise it. Why? You never know what you will get and you could very well kill or adversely affect the polyp itself. Honestly, I was only saying that it is possible, yet I would never do it myself personally. My sincere apologies if I mislead you to think that there is some secret thing some do to change the color of a polyp. Even when we do everything right, there is always a chance the polyp won't look the same as it did prior to the purchase and no gurantees that there won't be a shift/change in coloration. I do indeed hope you achieve what you are endeavoring to do my friend.
