how will my frogspawn grow?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I got a frogspawn about 2-3 weeks ago. At my lfs, in their two big tanks of coral, they have a little area for "nano corals". So I got a frogspawn that was in that section. It has two kind of small heads, and just recently(today) Im pretty sure it expanded completely. It looks alot larger than the previous days.

So my question is how will my frogspawn grow into a big frogspawn like the one below? Will it eventually grow more heads? Or what?

With my FS it is hard to tell how it grows. It gets so big during the day it is impossible to see the "heads". I think mine has grown a new head, but i am not positive. All i know is that it grows really fast. When I first got it, it was about 3 inches across when fully opened. Now it is more like 5 or 6 inches across. It has only been 3-4 months.

I believe the heads split into two distinct heads. You may see small heads located at the ba

Depends if it is branching or not. If it is branching you will see new heads growing along with "stems"

my frogspawn is really doing amazing. It started out with 3 or 4 heads. I am now at 8 or 9 heads. the thing is huge. What happened with mine, was over time, as one head got big, I noticed a split between them. Then at night when it closed i noticed a new head. (that was the split). Each time a head gets big (atleast on mine) it splits into 2 new smaller ones.

My branching hammer-spawn-whatever started as a frag with 3 heads. Pretty much most of the heads then split into two or three heads, and then so on and so forth!

Its now up to 23 heads and growing (last time I counted).

I have not seen any new heads that have grown from the base, only from other heads/branches.

Whats the other type? My frogspawn isnt a branching type..it seems to be a "solid" base..how does that grow?
