How would a large carpet or bubble tip do in a FOWLR??

I have the marineland 265 FOWLR with a all large fish and wanting to add a pair or single clownfish and anemone. I have a 10 inch golden puffer,8inch Emporer angel,6inch Queen angel,8 inch French angel,a Blue and a Butter Hamlets, Flame angel,pygmy angel, small spanish hog, 8 inch Aussi Tusk,7inch Sargassm Trigger, 6 inch black durgen trigger, 2ft snowflake eel,2ft banana eel 5 inch powder blue tang, 5 inch purple tang, 6 inch annularis angel. I have about 200 lbs of rock no corals I want to add some color. Will it work or just asking for trouble. All fish have been together for over 2 years and doing great. Have alot of flow in the tank and have a 72 inch t5 fixture with atinic and 10000k bulbs.

I wondered the same thing. Will fish that may eat corals leave anemones alone?

IMO your angels will be trouble and possibly the trigger.

I have always wanted to do the same but have been told triggers will eat nems and my guess is your puffer would for sure eat everything.

I have a LTA and RBTA in a 150 FOWLR tank with a 7" Emperor Angel. He nipped at them initially (out of curiosity) but quickly got bored (or stung). I also have a pretty tough Maroon clown that guards them! I think it's important to quickly bury or hide the anemone's foot in the rock or sand and hopefully they'll stay put. Once the foot is hidden, they seem to take care of themselves.

I have a green carpet in my moray eel tank. Only problem I had was when I feed the carpet and one of my eels was still hungry. He could smell that shrimp, but the carpet wasn't giving up. Every time the eel touched the carpet it looked like he got shocked. I kind of felt bad for the eel, but if your going to be stupid you got to be tough. The carpet also has a anenome crab for a friend, you would laugh you a** of watching that little crab go all chuck norice on an eel a million times his size. I make sure the eels get enough to eat now.

I've got a majestic that has lived with BTAs for the entire 3-4 years I've had it (since it was 1.5" long, now it's about 4") with no issues. I upgraded to a larger tank and added a two new BTAs. Now the majestic won't leave one of them alone. All posted to say that even if it works out in the short term, you just never know.
