Are H&S skimmers really worth the money?

This is a good example. For $440, you could get a Euro-Reef RS180. For $485, you could get an RS250. Both of these would outskimm the A110-F2000 by a mile. They are not even in the same class.Originally posted by redtail78
I am also looking at one of these. The A110-F2000, local shop has it for $459, which is what im finding it for at online vendors. I have not spoke to anyone that has one though.
Compared to what?Originally posted by ncsaltwater

The RS are internal, RC are external. Premium Aquatics carries the full ER line.

I don't care for that article's opinion on skimmers. It contains too many generalizations.
Are H&S skimmers worth it? I like mine. It has been the easiest skimmer to maintain. It is also very compact and very quiet. The new Euro-Reefs are indeed very promising.
