Huge bubble tip

I've had this bubble tip for 2 years has never split .now it's huge . My buddy has them too , and they split Every month or even weekly . Why doesn't mine do the same ?

My first BTA didn't split for 3 years. Maybe it's just really happy? It's often said that they split under stress.

I have heard there are a couple different BTA's, the smaller ones that will split fairly often and the bigger ones that rarely if ever split. not sure how true this is or not though.

People aren't really sure what triggers a split. Some say stress to get a better chance of survival. Others say good conditions an a happy nem

My old bta split a lot when I got lazy with water changes. A friend of mine splits and he's got perfect water. His splits almost monthly

I feel your pain, the rbta I purchased 1.5 years ago has become massive but has not split. It started off the size of my clown fish and now is the size of a large dinner plate. Unfortunately there are not great ways to induce a split so I just try to enjoy its massive beauty.

I got an RTBA from a friend of mine and it has split 3 separate times. The one I had in there for awhile hasn't split yet, I currently have 4 lol

feed it? When I fed my rbta it split when I didnt nor did it

Mine split after changes of amount of food feed heavily for a month stop for a week or two feed once heavily then mine split don't know if it gets stressed from having full stomach for first time in a while but seems to work. havent had any losses this way either
