Humane way to kill a BTA?

I have plenty of spare lab RO water bottles laying around my place (The ones with the screw cap and the long squirt nozzle). I usually fill these bottles with system water then chill them in my fridge. I use this to squirt at their "foot" which works as a pretty good irritant. air works well, but sometimes cause more problems than solves.

Maybe use this in conjunction with the pipe idea if he doesn't want to come out on his own.

I am hoping that this works for you. I too have a bta take over. I need to get rid of at least 6, in fact I just noticed a new clone... Little bastards sting the crap out of my coral.

Put them in their own tank and add a pair of clownfish, them everybody is happy, especially the clowns.
