I know you've heard it before, and yes I have been doing water changes for a few years now. Right now I do a 30 gallon water change once a month in my 125 gallon. Not too many fish, about 4 damsels a tang and a marroon clown and a few corals, about 130 pounds of rock, and a cleaner crew. I don't run a skimmer. I was thinking of doing about 5-10 gallon water changes each week instead of 1 big 30 gallon change once a month. What do you think are the pros and cons of doing that.

Thanks

Andy

Doing frequent, smaller water changes on your tank is actually better for it. Less stress on the animals. We just normally do it once a month because we're lazy :D

Agree with Ken. Also better for overall water quality. Less change over a given period.
