You can see the fat raised portion on my nem. Looks like a giant tentacle with smaller ones trying to branch off. Every seen something like this? Just appeared in the last day or two while I was gone. Weird! Anything to worry about?

I do get some weirdly enlarged tentacles from time-to-time. Your nem looks healthy from that picture so I wouldn't worry about it.

I had a BTA that would do that on occasion. I always went away after a while. I don't know if it is a good thing. It may be a reaction to some sort of irritant, but it doesn't appear to be fatal.

Mine does it, but it's usually on a tentacle (I can't tell if your is or not).
