humu fins acting strange

I can't tell if he has ick bc when he sleeps, his fins are in the sand.

But he seems to be shaking his upper body fin. He does this until a kind of substance begins to appear on the fin.

any ideas?

What do you mean shaking?

My FF sometimes sleeps on his side at the bottom of the tank. He looks like he is dead, resting on the sand almost completly sideways with part of his body on a rock.
