Jim, your tank look great. How do you like the Euro Reef RC1000? I picked up an ER for my friend last week. The protein skimmer is 72.5" tall, 12" body with 5 eheim 1262.

The only complaint on the rc1000 is the seal between the collection cup and body, if you dont get the right amount of grease on the o-ring it leaks when you try to run a wetter skimmate. I am currently looking for a fatter o-ring that may seal better.

I used to have the same problem. You can check with Finsreef to get the H&S O-ring....

I like how you have only 2 400 Watt bulbs running the whole tank. How is the light spread on the reflectors? How do the light rollers work? Do they just move until they hit a stopper, then reverse direction?

well, i actually made a ligting change. I now run 3 400's with large batwing adjustable reflectors. the other set up worked fine I just want to see if a little more light would promote better growth

I believe so, last test Phosphates were .04. Everything seems to have final come around and in line.....also added a new GEO calcium reactor. And I have 6000 grams of phosban ready to continue the fight if needed.

I got tired of the Kenya Tree, Ricordia overtaking the sysytem so I gutted it entirely and decided to go all Acan Lord. I have a thread here to see some pics, although there will be more pic to follow. http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1874578
