Huskerreef's Lagoon RIP, on to the next build

WOW Jim, thats going to be a very nice system! Definently sweet dimensions, cant wait to see pics of this!

Loved your lagoon for sure...but now you'll have side views too!

so it was up for about three years before it started leaking then? I'm thinking about doubling up on the 45 mil, the extra $200 would be money well spent if a puncture ever occurred through the first layer.

Here are a few shots that are amazing to find in your tank

And a few demo shots. More build pics to come. New tank should be here next week.
I just cut off 4 feet of the lagoon to make the new stand

And lots of sand to be dug out

HOLY CRAP! I've seen longer worms, but never that thick. You better look out for that thing, it could probably take your hand off.

I never saw your lagoon, but if you could point me to a thread I'd love to see it.

Can't wait to see the new tank up and running.

P.S. - GO BUFFS!

scbauer "P.S. - GO BUFFS!" 5 years ago I would have had rebuttle, now all I can say is wait til next year:)

Not that the stupid AD is gone and the pethetic coach calihan we are back on the rise even though we haven't played a season w/ Bo yet. I just hope that we go back to power running football. Throwing in October in Lincoln...right....not cool. I hope to get tickets this season again. My uncle and cousin played for them and my grandparents have had season tickets since the 70's. Born and raised in Ne and bleed red through and through.

Can't wait to see more progress. Sounds like a great tank build. Feel bad about having to redo stuff but I think you'll like the new tank

Typical Husker, pointing out the obvious... pretty sure we all bleed red. :D

Just kidding guys, I know exactly what it's like to constantly be looking forward to "next year", especially after your new coaches first season going 2-10 :(.

Lunch, I see you with a whole different perspective now that I know you're a Husker Fan.

Okay, back on topic...

Great one post and I loose all respect w/ a few :D

Colorado and UNL have had some great games and a great rivalry. Usually UNL wins but lately Colorado has been killing us :(

It's obvious we all bleed red....the reason being that God wanted us to be Husker fans!

AAAAAAAAAAAMEN!!!

Wish I was closer to help move the new tank in. Will definately need to road trip to see the new tank once it is in its new home.

Hey Lunch...Once a Husker always a Husker!

Getting excited now, the father in law is picking it up today and bringing it to Omaha, may lay eyes on it before I go to bed tonite:)

Great to see you rebuilding. I loved the lagoon.

On another note, we drove from Missouri to Hastings, NE for a little leage tournament. In Hastings right now. We stayed overnight in Lincoln and on the way out of town, had to drive by Memorial Stadium just to take a look. We are all Mizzou fans but have a lot of respect for the Cornhuskers and the tradition. Our local college is Southeast Missour State Univ. and is coached by Tony Samuel, a former Cornhusker.
