so sorry to hear about the male. is all this inbreeding going to have some adverse effects? just curious as a very naive fish person.

My pair have been doing really well now for 2 months. They've of course ignored the BTA and host the hard corner of my bare bottom glass tank!

I'm not sure why, but both have large protruding chins, that are often white. Looks like a tooth coming out or something. It could be because they're rubbing constantly against glass?

Anyone else have pictures or know of theirs having strange chins?

This is when I first got them 2 months ago. Since then their bodies have become completely black with white stripes, with only the bottom fins and faces holding orange.

My photons are going strong and look great, but they won't take to the BTA. Gonna try LTA or haddoni next.

tufa, you have pics? By the way, I've never had a pair of clowns host an anemone. They act like nothing is different, and even preferred to host a power head in one circumstance. crazy clowns, clowning around..

i have never tried or wanted to breed clowns, but now i kind of hope to. i dont have the space for another tank, but i think i would make some

i just stumbled upon this thread here.
ive got a pair like yours sanjay except the male is black onyx from bali and female is black and white oc...
my first batch at 6 months is starting to color up now and it looks like they may get to be the same colors as yours.
I have heard of a clown called photons but did not know what they looked like.wow congratulations they are beautiful..
if my coloration comes out to be the same as yours would it be ok to call them photons or must I call them something else thanks
