Hydnophora microconos

what are your experiences with this coral, is it fairly easy to keep like H. rigida or is it harder? I dont see this coral much, so thought it might not fair too well.

i've had mine for about 3 years, and it is still going strong. be advised that it is quite aggressive, so don't put it real close to anything else.

dallast, how far away do u reccomend putting it away from other coral...got it about 3 inches away from some rics, guess im goin to look at night to see where the sweepers are

in my experience, 3 inches should be plenty far! i actually have mine about an inch away from anacropora and a large brain coral. as i don't have all my corals cemented in place, i had the hydno shift and got a little too close (almost touching), which caused the trouble. neither my brain nor my acropora have recoved in the "burn zone" yet.

otherwise, they are totally beautiful and fluoresce like nobody's business!
