Hydor Koralia 4 Question

If you try a DIY method consider the timing between ramping up (and down). The Seio lets you do this in the control panel so you can change it. It maybe more difficult to adjust if its DIY.

I will work the same way with my light rail which is already done and fine tune the speed when it's up. The problem is to find parts for those who don't have it hand, especially the relays and controllers. I've tried many brands and found that Omron, johnson and others brands of relays and controllers are way too expensive and lack of feature for the bucks. IME, SSAC low voltage relay is best for features and it's dirt cheap.
Anyway, what I have in mind is
_2 speed controllers, 1 for low, 1 for full load, with reversible and acceleration option. You can use just 1 by modify it but why bother if you have 2 in hand. (1 of this will control the low volt dc motor to rotate a wheel with the size that match the timming of you choice)
_2 SSAC low volt timer relays (must have the initiate feature), adjustable from 1 sec - over 1000 secs.
_1 low volt dc motor
_1(maybe 2) reed swith to alternate the relays
That's preety much of stuff to make it work. I hope some electrical experts in here will come up with something better.
What do you think ?!

I'm going to be no help to you on this i'm afraid. PM me when its done and tell me how you got on. Good luck
