Hydor Koralia pumps. Anyone use them?

Has anyone used the Hydor Koralia centrifugal pumps? From $28 to $50 each it seams like a steal. Able to pump from 400 to 1200gph and with a magnetic holder!

I'm just wondering how good can this unit be. Will they last, chew up fish or a wandering anemone? Is the flow like a water jet or a gentle current? How does it compare to the Tunze Streams. Can they be controlled by a wavemaker?

Would you use them or go with a close loop system instead.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I'm running two of the 4s on my 125 and love them. Great price. If you scan this forum a few pages, I'm sure you can find more threads posting the up side as well as some of the downsides of them. Regardless though, I couldn't be happier with them:D

I recall seeing them but really didn't pay attention or even knew what they were!

I like the magnetic holders and the basket over the impeller, but I'm concerned about my wandering anemones and gobies. They would be used in my 180.

By the way, love your gallery pics!
