Last week I bought three Hydra 52hd's and everything worked great on day one, day two one light would fall out of sink but after resetting it things worked great again. I did reach out to AI and followed there instructions basically reinstalling them bypassing the wifi/internet and things worked great for a day then bam, same thing with a different light falling out of sink. I just cant seem to keep all three lights linked. Has anyone else hade this problem?

yeah, i have a Hydra 26HD just wont link, i tried reset it like million time. other one works great. they are not even 1' apart.

I have two prime HD, I think they run on the same link system. I personally didn't even bother with setting the second up as a child light as this is a common complaint. As much of a PITA it is make three "parent" profiles and make them run the same settings.

After smashing my head against the wall I give up. Setup one parent and child then setup third as a separate parent with all three running the same program. In pairs they work great but when you add the third wheel one will drop out and loose sink.

Had the same issues. According to AI the one is too far from router which makes no sense because lights are next to each other and router is a few feet away from tank. Just run them separate. Same program.

i had elevated blood pressure when i first installed 4 Hydra 26 LEDs and lost connection every time i accessed the lights via the AI app. after almost giving up i learned the secret:

(1) if you want to access your lights via iphone app, 1st switch wi-fi connection in phone's settings from your home wifi to the lights' local address;

(2) open the AI app and do whatever you want!!

(3) change your iphone wifi setting back to your reg wifi when you're done.

This has worked without a single problem for months. Good Luck.
