hydra 52 or kessil a360w

what would you choose?
I'm upgrading my lights and have found a deal on both either
hydra 52HD
or
2 a360w with controller
tank is 30''l x 18''tx 18'' w

Either will be more than enough. I think that with the hydra you might have more adjustability.

the kessils are about 2yrs old and hydra is brand new.
was also thinking hydra

Both choices are very good. But I too would take the 2 Kessils. 2 fixtures give you more flexible coverage and positioning options vs a single fixture placed in the middle.

kessil is weak in my opinion... low par levels as well... my entire vote goes to ai

Not really...depends on how much they were used. I think they are rated for 50,000 hrs or something.
2 yr warranty. They don't drop off in intensity the same way mH will.
If you like shimmer, you will like the Kessils. But the others are correct, you won't go wrong with either.

And the Kessils certainly are not "weak."

I would go Hydra but the Kessils would be a solid choice as well. Kessils definitely are not "weak". They would fry your corals in a heartbeat if turned up too high.
