Hydrogen peroxide on a Duncan?

Is the hair algae on the Duncan? Perhaps fragging the Duncan off the rock and gluing it elsewhere, then dip the rock or plug? Any CUC members that can eat the hair algae off the Duncan. Peroxide seems harsh, but then again I've never owned a Duncan and knock on wood..... I have no hair algae.

I would try manually removing the hair algae and get the nitrates/phos/nutrients/nutrient source in line to combat this problem and help resolve.

Not sure what that is, but it isn't hair algae. I'd cut that entire right hand stalk and get it out of your tank.

It might work, or it might stress them even more resulting in a bigger dead spot and more algae. My guess is the latter...
