hydrometer

yesterday I was doing a weekly water change and I broke my hydrometer..Its one of those instance ocean one not really good and I cant stand it but now I have no way to test my salinity.. I know I can take it to my LFS but that to much trouble. Just seeing if anyone have an extra one laying around I can grab off them for a couple bucks??? Matt

Matt, you should invest in a refractometer when you can afford it.

Matt, I just bought a refractometer at the frag swap. You can have my hydrometer for nothing if you would like it. It is the glass floating type.

definately invest in the refractometer! It is way more accurate than the hydrometer. Used to test on 2 different hydrometers and they were never the same reading.

Matt I have an extra one just give me a call when you can stop by to pick it up. I get out of work aroudn 5 on weekdays
