hyperflow chopped my shrimp

My seio 1500 sucked in his first victim. My banded shrimp lost both of his pinchers and long whiskers. I thought he would die but I saw him last night at the back of the tank. Poor thing it must of hurt pretty bad. Does he have a chance of surviving without his pinchers? Is there something I can do to help him out to survive. Will he grow new pinchers?

I have heard of them growing back. I will take a while though.

It sure take a lot of molts to regenerate the pincers, the worrysome issue is feeding, meybe you will need to feed it.
