Can I ask exact what camera and lens combo you normally use. I had over 6k worth of digital photo gear stollen in a home robbery 2 months ago and I need to start building a kit again. Just curious what your using to get these great shots. Any supplemental lighting or just your tank lights? How much post work?

Don't think I've seen this tank before.

Ha...glad you came over to RC

Im really sorry to hear that.Hopefully you can recover most of your gear back. Most of those shots are taken with a canon 60D and 100mm macro IS. I have a flash but i rarely use it for tank shots as i try my best for the shots to reflect the tanks current light spectrum. Minimal post work mostly sharpening and/or contrast.

Great work, Rehype!
Congratulations for the beautiful reef!
My next tank will be shallow, inspirated by this beauty here!

So i went to adventure aquarium in camden last weekend with some extended family and had a great time.Hadnt been to the aquarium in about 5 years so it was a great time for a visit. Overall adventure aquarium is nice but it could be alot better IMO. Anyhow figure id share some of the pics over the next few pages and kick some life into this old thread. Lighting conditions were absolutely horrid so forgive the quality of some of these shots.

On to the pics...(more to come)

Holy crap when I first glanced at that first picture I thought you added a batfish to your already weird reef collection, LOL!!! Nice pics from the aquarium, looks like a sweet setup!

Despite the lighting, your shots are on-par as always, well done!
