hypo going slow...

So about 2 days after dropping salinity down to 1.009 everyone started to clear up a little... And its been almost a week now, and it seems to be getting worse..? My cowfish is absolutely covered, and i may have to drop him back in the copper QT. Does this always seem to get worse before it gets better?

What are you using to check the salinity? I would definately not take them from 1.009 and drop them in a QT with copper as it would likely kill them. I personally prefer copper over hypo. you've chosen the current path however. If your plan is to treat with copper now, you'll need to bring the salinity back up slowly 1st. If you are using a refac, I would calibrate it to ensure you are getting an accurate reading.
