Hypo water parameters?

Should all water parameters be at natural seawater levels during a Hypo treatment?
Another way of putting it should my Alk be 8dkh and my Mg 1200ppm and ca 380ppm at a specific gravity of 1.009?

When running any Qt your prime focus is on ammonia .. when running hypo however your tanks PH may tend to drop because the salinity of hypo tanks is about 1/3 or normal tanks which means you have much less alkalinity to buffer PH .. many people who run hypo tanks will add a small amt. of buffer (baking soda works fine) to mitigate this problem.

You don't care about mag, calcium or much of anything else.
