I will be turning my 150 gallon tank into a QT tank for the 300 gallon that I plan on setting up.

My question is, can shrimp, snails and hermits tolerate hyposality treatment? I would love to keep these guys in the tank if at all possible.


Also, what effect does hpo have on nitrifying bacteria?

No, inverts don't do hypo.

Good article. Only downside to Hypo as a QT is that it really only treats ich.

That is true LAngels. I don't do hypo myself, too much trouble trying to keep salinity just right. I do your method in QT w/prazipro and cupramine. Works great and much easier.
