I got sloppy with quarantine and it has bitten me in the butt as my hippo tang is now showing signs of ich. Ugh. After several years of doing it right I got lazy and did an observational quarantine only rather than a preemptive ich treatment like I did for every fish up to that point. So... I need to (cry) pull all my fish and treat.
My question is, I think I am probably pushing the stocking of the hospital tank too far, but I am not sure I have too many other options. Standard 55g hospital tank with a pair of canister filters (rena xp1 and eheim 2028). I have a sailfin tang (7"), hippo tang (5"), pair of oscellaris clowns, firefish, midas blenny, solar fairy wrasse, and blackcap basslet. What do you think? Playing with fire in that small of a tank for hypo?
