Ive done this procedures dozens of time and each time working to perfection. I purchased a small 2 inch regal tang 2 months ago and has been in qt since. I performed hypo on him for 6 weeks already using a refractometer bringing it down to 1.009. Today, he seems to have more white spots on him then before? Can you guys help? Im about to do copper or any other alternative methods. Thanks

Are you sure it is ich? Hypo works for ich, but not for velvet. Also don't do hypo and copper at the same time.

How long was the actual time the fish was in hypo at 1.009 for (not counting the dropping or raising of the salinity)?
