Hypothetically speaking, which tank would you go with?

1. 72x36x20
2. 72x36x18
3. 48x36x20
4. 48x36x18
5. Other (please list your dimensions)

Of course, this is all hypothetical.:)

Nice long break from reefing there pal. :D

1. 72x36x22

I changed it a little. :)

For Alex I'd pick:

60x36x24

The nice thing about the 18" and 20" tall tanks is that you can light them quite well with the 175w Iwasaki 15k bulbs (or where they 14k ? :)). They have great par and color for very little power consumption. Would make the monthly eletrcial investment pretty reasonable :)

But I still would go with #1 or #3.. 18" T is just a bit too short for my tastes.. but that is purely preferrence :). After our sand bed, eurobracing, etc, we only have approx 20" - 21" viewable anyways.

72x36x20 would be my vote.

I'm still kicking myself for not picking this one up when it was available <sigh>

It's a really nice sized tank just simply because of the height and depth the length is a plus.

No problem I hope to see pics when you have it all set up, it's going to be so awesome! =)

Now if we can only get Maximus to get one...hmmmm.....

Why you say?......

Doug, Look at his tank size.

Using the following input parameters
Tank Length = 48 inches
Tank Width = 48 inches
Tank Height = 24 inches

Tank volume is calculated as
Tank Volume = 239.4 Gallons

Tacocat lists his tank as a 240 cube ;)

I figured, but my new rule is to quit assuming what people are trying to say, ESPECIALLY with this group of characters!!!

Love to see it man, I got a thing for the cubes. Cant decide on 48" or 42" sides for myself and want to see a 48"

My last tank had awesome dimensions, 48x36x20. I am not sure if I want the same sized tank. If I do get one, I am going with the same tank manufacturer as Invincible's and Naka's. The tank will be frameless and braceless. Btw, phase one (got rid of carpet) is complete:) Please ignore the crappy pic as I used my cell phone.
