hypothetically, what if...

Yeah I'd probably need john's dump setup since mine would need to go with my tank. I was going to keep my return pump, skimmer and powerheads though. (though I have backups if somebody really needed them).

Would you sell the skimmer I'm gonna be needing one for that 8 ft frag tank
 
Ok made call and commitment to get the tank. Even though I'm crazy to go through this again! Hopefully this is the absolutely last tank move I'll have to do! Now getting things lined up (cleaning). And to get past the fireworks of DH. (but he does ask me why my tank doesnt look like the ones at mikuni's, with this tank it will. If I clean up all the odds and ends of this unfinished build with the finished star fire then it should smooth things too. (only thing it's glass in case he gets too mad). Maybe I can tell him he can have a shark in it for when he gets mad at me like he told me he'd do? Lol
 
I'll need a storage container (or rubbermaid tub) or maybe someplace to house my fish/corals. This maybe the only way for me to catch my golden Japanese hawkfish too (he's for sale but aggressive at least he is to my snooty wrasse). Now to clean up my messy house for company!
 
If Hugo is lending a hand, he can come by and pick up the stock tank anytime you need it.
 
yay! this is the most excited I've been about the hobby in quite a while :dance: Can break in the new Apex on a new tank!:beer:

(though a little drastic, ugh, need to clean up my equipment and redo the wiring with the controller, might as well do it on a new tank, lol).
 
Whats plans do you have for rock scaping?

I have a new one going together here shortly and I have been hemming and hawing about how I want to approach it. I don't want to have to do it again, don't want to scratch the glass, and I will be pre-drilling for spaces to put coral so I don't have to monkey with adhesives in the display.
 
Tina let me know when you want me to get the huge tub from Mark. I also have an empty 55g drum that we can make water and get the new system setup
 
I paid for the tank. I'm thinking that I would need the tub in a week or so depending on when people are available to move the tanks? Memorial Day weekend I realize is out :).
 
What days are good for peoples schedules on a weekend? Then I can tell John when to get that tank ready too. I'll need somebody with a truck to haul it over. I have summer school starting on the 11th of next month so would like to have the new tank set up by then.
 
Does anybody have an extra water making barrel? I'm thinking of starting the tear down soon but need to make extra water.
