There have been a lot of changes around here since I last logged on--6 months or so ago?? Work and family took most of my hours the many past months. The tank is doing fine and I hope all of yours are doing the same.
I have also acquired a new family member. Here he is with my Golden Retriever, the pic was at 11 months and 150lbs. Hercules is his name, fitting I guess. He is a smooth coat Saint with hospice ears.

Great to have you back, any pics of the tank? Someone had to ask, as always if you need something let us know.

Yeah it is all good-just been really busy with family and work stuff! I will post some larger pics of Herc later today. levon15 I can get some pics of the tank next weekend.

some larger pics of the dogs. Hercules at the present is about 32in at the shoulders, his dad was right around 34 and 200lb. You can see his size next to my full grown Golden that is around 3 years old. They are great brothers and herc thinks he is a 7lb Pug lap dog. The house can get rather crazy when the puppy flurries kick in, and when that happens we call it thunder and lightning-thunder being Hercules chasing Opie, and Opie running as fast as lightning. Note my favorite beer in the pic!
As far as short hair Saints they are not as common as the long hair, but the AKC recognizes both and in their picture of the breed standard on the website there is a short hair version.
He is still a clumsy puppy with a lot more growing and filling out to do-and yeah he was starting to get a stiffy in the one pic, he still has his two things and he gets excited!

Wow, really cool dog you don't see too much these days! Bogie would like to play with him:D

Glad to see you back from the abyss...I was just talking about you the other day wondering where you've been.

Herc and Bogie would be fun to see play. Bogie would dominate because of breed type and age but they would have a ball together. He likes all dogs except the ones that he thinks are moving toys, anything smaller than 20lbs. I cant take him to the dog park because of that reason-he just wants to play but his jaws are too strong and he would kill a small dog that he thought he was playing with.
I have missed the group and forum but I had a lot of personal and work stuff to deal with.
The Tibetan mastiff's are much more rare and spectacular specimens, but also a lot more head strong than my Alpine mastiff.
good to be back!

I'll agree with you when you say Herc thinks he is a pug. I think that is in all large dogs. I've also seen the opposite where the small dogs think they are St. Bernards.

My dogs have recently found a new play toy. It comes around late at night. An armidillo has been coming in the yard rooting around in the leaf litter. I caught my female knocking it around the yard like a ball.
