Rogger,
This is such a nice thing you're doing, I had to do something nice for you.
I edited your post to spell out two of the numbers in your phone number. No reason to open yourself up to every spam phone caller with a bot on the 'Net.

Everyone else, I hope it wasn't too bad for you. News up here is describing a LOT of damage, especially down in the Keys, but as far north a So. Carolina.

Wow Thank You, I have no cable so haven't seen the news in a couple of days, didn't know the storm had impacted so far north, I went to Naples yesterday bringing some gas to a friend and the degree of destruction was incredible!
The truth is that the true heros are the Fpl crews, I saw caravans of Fpl and first responders all over the roads it felt really good

Rogger is awesome he reached out and offered me help personally unfortunately damage done but much appreciated:thumbs up:

I can see the need to evacuate people from down in the Keys, but to hear the pain in their voices as they just want to go home and see whats left, and authorities are not letting them go.
I'd be so mad that I had evacuated, if I couldn't go back after the storm. I understand it's a war zone, and it's dangerous, but imagine not being able to go back and see what's left.

Yes that is a frustrating situation, I can also see the authorities point, there is no gas and no power so even if you reach there you would be stuck with no way to come back or food supplies putting more pressure to the first responders.
On my way to Naples the road was litter with dozens of cars that had ran out of gas and had to be abandon, and if you had ever been in alligator alley it would be pretty scary to get stuck in the middle of the Everglades, there are no lights for at least 100 miles, in fact there is nothing but swamps on both sides of the road for as long as you can see.
And then as if all this wasn't enough you have the people that want to take advantage of these situations and take other people belongings and I am not talking about career thief I am talking about neighbors and kids from your own community.
Here where I live two 17 years old where caught by the sheriff department on the day of the hurricane breaking into a house that the owners had evacuated, one of the kids was shot and the other caught! Sad but sometimes this situations bring the worst out in some people. Luckily in the most part it is the opposite, and most people has extended to help each other. :)
