I am looking to buy the BRS GFO/Carb Reactor

Do any of you guys run a setup like that?
Which Pump did you use? MJ-1200?
Will I need anything else besides the media,pump,and reactor?

I run one, great unit. Mine is fed of a t from my return pump. But a Mj pump would work great, it comes with the fitting so you can hook the Mj right up to it.

yes it works great. The maxi jet is more than enough, you have to throttle it back a decent bit

I run the deluxe BRS reactor with carbon on a mag drive 3. Works great. The reactor is not plug n play with this pump.

I run it with Gfo and Eco Back. Like Buckeye Tod said you have to cut the flow on the 1200 quite a bit. works great though good item to have.

I run a pair of BRS jumbo reactors. Mine are fed off a manifold on my return pump. One has GFO and the other has carbon. Each has its own feed line. Media pump and reactor is about all you need. I ran my effluent lines through bulk heads into my refugium with John Guest fittings threaded into the bulkheads.
