lol i was in petco today ugh i know. but they were putting an order away. i noticed all the bags on the floor that the fish came in. i guess after the float the fish, they dump them, and throw the bags on the floor. they were empty, so i thought. i was reading the labels, and i seen one of the bags still had an occelaris clown fish. instead of telling the person, i decided to rescue the fish from the incompetent people working there, and proceded to put the bag in my pocket. luckily for the fish there was maybe a few milileters of water in the bag. the employee that was taking care of the order came around and picked up the bags off the floor and threw them all in a trashcan. she didnt even look at them, just scooped them all up in a big armfull and threw them away. if i didnt save him he was surely doomed. the little guy pulled through and is safely swimming around the 2.5 gallon tank i set up for him on the fly, until i can make room in one of my tanks for him.

lol, yes i know it is "technically" stealing but the fish would have gotten thrown away if i had not seen it. and what kind of incompetent employee would forget a fish in the bag.
in ur eyes i stole in my eyes i rescued it from death, an incompetent store, and the idiot they may have sold it to.

in my area the petco is terrible. tanks are not maintained, and the only people that shop there are people that dont know better to go the private store

You could have simply told the employee he missed a fish and he would have picked it up & put it in the tank. I'm not about to hop on any soapbox and preach morality to anyone. But it is stealing.
