So this marks the beginning of my reef. I had tested my water at home to make sure my water quality was great, and just to make sure of it, I had my LFS test it too. Everything was good. So I asked the guy which were good beginners coral. He directed me to the mushrooms and zoos.

Now I have one, and it isn't opening. I'm waiting it out though...I already read some of the troubleshooting things people experienced so I know what to do about it.

However, my questions are...what other coral should I pair these guys up with? Is it okay to feed my zoanthids mysis shrimp or brine shrimp? I have that phytoplankton stuff, but that stuff is costly. I was wondering if they can survive with shrimp and photosynthesis alone...

Please help me out. Thanks.

I didn't have good luck with at the begining due to the tank is soo clean. I was led to beleive that they like a lets say astablished up and running tank.. just my opinion.
On feeding I do squiort my zoos when target feeding my other corals with a blended selection of stuff but copepods would be your best bet 1-2 times a week just a with a turkey baster.
