My clowns are fast and my camera skills suck so I had to take a video. This video wasn't intended for clown I.Ding so sorry if you can only see the clowns for a short 5seconds. Anyways heres the link:

The clowns are close to the end :)

And when I.Ding just call one "The darker one" and the other "The lighter one"

Please and Thank You:D

I don't know...they both might be either species in the percula complex...it's sometimes tough to discern between the two.

One way you may be able to tell is to count the spines in the front section of the dorsal fin. If it has 9, it's definitely a percula, if it's got 11, it's definitely an ocellaris, but if it's got 10 you're still stuck.

Ooo is that why there fighting to get gender dominance? Well the lighter one is the one thats starting all the chasing. Sometimes they swim together and other times they chase eachother.

Funny thing is I tried that! It was so hard to count since hes always moving and I dont see it worth netting him up and putting him in the breeders net.:(

But so far ive been getting mixed answers so i'll let this thread go on :)

A still picture would be much more helpfull. However, I think you have a A. percula lighter color and A. ocellaris more ornage. Look at their eyes. The ocellaris has darker ring around the iris while the percula has lighter eye.
