well, i have broken a personal rule and went out and bought an organism--a sea pen--on a whim. i knew about the poor survival record of these critters, but i had also heard that the kind that i got (a Cavernulina sp.) are somewhat easier to keep. they are supposedly more photosynthetic than other sea pens. this one had been in the store for a couple of months with no special care and looked fabulous this afternoon when i made my purchase.
so, after you finish scolding me, can you please provide any suggestions that you might have on sea pen care?
thanks
