I don't think I will order from these guys again

I place a second order with Purely H2O the first one was my TDS meter. It took them 5 business days to ship it. I called they said they were moving and where backed up. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. There a RC sponser I thought I would try again.

I ordered 3 replacement filters and 3 days in now the order hasn't shipped. They charged me and they didn't ship anything. I called the this time and a guy that sounded like he was out of breath said he was real backed up and promised me I would get a tracking number tonight.

I am done with these guys.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a good RO/DI place they have used before?

Purely H20 service sucks.
 
The Gnome ordered a Typhoon III from airwaterice.com and it didnt come with a membrane. Whats up with these shady RO dealers? Are they run out of a basement or something?

Bud we have been behind and we made that very clear in posts we left here on the board and other places. We make up for these delays by shipping the items express when possible which after you called today and said you needed the filters we did. Your order will be there on Monday, Maybe Saturday and I really am sorry that you are disapointed and I would like you to give me a call this evening please if possible. Again Im sorry for letting you down.

I think that recieving it by Monday is a pretty darn good turnaround, dont you?

Do you honestly believe that we deserved the comment our service sucks? You called today and I handled it for you fast. I think that is actually good service.

Can you please give me a call when you get a chance so we can talk about this.

You have got to be kidding! You place an order on the 31st and publicly blast someones service on the 2nd? It appears to me they have answered your calls and made an attempt to get your order to you in a speedy manner. You would not receive personal service like that from one single strictly e-bay vendor that I can think of.
If I were you I would think up a way to publicy retract your statements in a way that doesn't make you look like a fool.
What was it you were expecting, to have someone personally hand carry it to your door overnight and install it for you?
Companies like PurelyH2O, Air Water & Ice and Buckeye are small firms with personal service and thats why they are sucessful, they do answer their phones and they do admit when they are having backlogs and they do try in every way to make it up to their customers like express shipping and personal e-mails.
Look in the forums at PurelyH2Os section, Bryan has posted for all to see that there have been some issues and they are working hard to correct them. Not many people would do that for all to see.
 
I have PM'd Bryan on several occasions and every time his response had been almost immediate. He is on these boards very often and is more than happy to speak directly to anybody over the phone. In my experience, their service has been top notch and is appreciated. Props to you Bryan helping out us reefers.
 
I too have had great luck with buckeye.

I also have to agree that 3 days is not bad on the week following a holiday. Having done a fair deal of online sales myself I know what it is like to get backed up after a 3 day weekend. If they are answering your calls and dealing well with you I would not write them off just yet. They sound like they are a pretty decent group just a bit behind.
 
If you noticed this was directed at my LOCAL club members and I was looking for another vendor. There was a thread on here not to long ago where many other members of the club had ordered from you and had stuff delayed.

You sent it express and you want extra credit for that but I ordered in at like 9:30am on wednesday and if you just would have shipped it you would have needed to go express.

Your being judged by the standards of the other RC sponsers
Your policy or not the stuff I had issue with.

1)Being charged right away for something that won't be shipped for days.

2)Same day shipping again might not be you policy but it is what I am use to on here. My order was like $30 in stock and very basic. Like I said early if it where shipped in a timely manner the express shipping would be uncalled for.

Just for comparsion I placed a $400 12 piece 103 pound 2 box order to Hellolights. Shipped ground from LA it is already past Lenexa KS.

And listen man take your lumps. The forums are harsh.

If I am not able to voice my opinion openly on this forum their pointless.
 
well here is my opinion i would have to say that sence purelyh2o has been backed up which he claimes they are getting an order by monday or sat. like he said is very good. less than a week turnaround is very good for most venders i have comeaccross. I myself have a unit from them and i can't be any happier. great costomer service if i ever have any questions and very nice to talk to. you must understand how hard it has to be to catch back up on stuff after a holiday weekend. it hurts all companys reef related or not.

The order shipped on the 2nd and you ordered it on the 31st.
We send orders as they come in, in the order they arrive.
I truly am sorry that you are unhappy with our service and its not that I want credit for anything. I was simply replying to the comment that our service sucks. You are completely entitled to your opinion and I promise you I wish we were able to get the orders out day of order. We are close to that again :) 2 weeks ago we were a week behind..lol Im glad you didnt order then you might have hung me :). Listen, Im very unhappy that you are not satisfied with our service and I would sincerely appreciate it if you would give us another chance in the future. Call me if you need anything at all and I will take care of you personally. I hope you have a great weekend!

Thanks for the offer I only really need RO equipment every 6 months so only time will tell.

Look at it this way if you manage to walk thru the fire here on RC and come out the other side you can do just what SpetraPure does charge $35 for the DI resin I got from you for $15.

I am glad we can leave this on good terms.

We have been backed up, I know that. I understand how you feel. We are a small business and I can tell you we are going through some heavy growing pains but we will come out on top.
This is my passion and I cant see myself doing anything else. We are gearing up for higher call volume and order fulfillment to keep these things from happening in the future. Our customers keep us on out toes and the ability to adapt to growth and keep an ear open for customer opinions and feedback is in my opinion a good formula for success. No hard feelings at all. This is just one of those months that Im working really hard to ensure does not happen again :)
