And I and my coral sure love it for $93 on amazon for a WP60
this pump gives beter push then my MP60 i think and is more like a Tunze then a Ecotech I beleive. I was able to get it to stick to my overflow with just the suction cup

whats your thoughts?

I've had people tell me that at least some of the positive reviews were likely bought. I can't tell you for certain that they operate under slimy business tactics like that, but I do believe the individuals that came forward.
That aside, I bought 2 WP40s about a year ago and put them in my tank, next to my Tunzes. At first, I was very impressed by the flow, which by feel was very close to the same as my Tunzes. At the price, to be even close to the same flow as Tunze is pretty incredible. The WPs and the Tunzez (6101?) have received the same cleanings, and the flow from the WPs is nowhere near the same as the Tunzes anymore. The WPs still run, but they have weakened noticeably over the year or so that I'm running them.
For the price, you can't really get hurt, but don't be fooled into thinking the quality is anywhere close to that of the Tunze or Vortech.

you are 100% right,,, the customer suport ate ecotech was great
but the price is the one thing i cant get over...Larry how do you think over time it stops working as strong as when you first bought it?
Mine is so strong I hope it never slow down.....

as you saw last month that wp40 was about a year old and still working extremely well.

My other one that wasn't working, was easily replaced. I sent a simple email to fishstreet in Asia, and within a few hours they sent me a paypal bill to cover shipping only. They sent me a new motor for the wp40 and I received it within 4 days.

Easy. And since I bought mine in a group buy originally, the 1 wp40 plus extra shipping on the replacement motor still cost less than your wp60 :)

What's sad is that on my 80g rimless, the WP25 (traded my wp40 for it) on full blast still moves my sandbed!!

So, i have it on the lowest controller setting (but the power on the variable supply cord is at the full 24v).

lol, at full speed (where it is located on my tank) it also splashes water out every once in a while.
