Alright they might not actually be Japanese but they are what people are calling them.

I just got some from fishnfrags.com (the guys that bought or took over fragfarmer.com) and they are sweet and cheap from what I have seen I thought I would pass it on.

Also the frags that they sent me look just like what is pictured on thier site. Except the were not fresh cut and clue frags. They were grown and fully encrusted to the frag plug with no super Glue in site. Not to mention the fact that each 4-6 polyp frag I ordererd came in as 10-15 polyps!

Maybe I was just lucky with my order but I thought I would pass it on.

Happy hunting to all and may the force be with you!

I just suggest keeping them quarantined for a couple weeks.. THey can look good right now then all the sudden wammo... issues.

Thats just the thing these are grown to the plugs meaning they have had them for a while and they must have grown them out.

Versus some of the normal chop shop practices we have all gotten at one time or another.

Your lucky then. I suggest growing them out and propagating them. I think its best for this hobby if folks start prop'n these guys out so you don't have to worry about wild caughts that melt on most anymore.

i agree 650-IS350 we all will be better off

Same here

I just bought healty ones so I thought i would pass it on!

I meant nothing negative about the post, I'm just placing a warning that although things look good right now, these specific polyps can just melt or gain pox out of the blue even if they were doing real well for a month or 2 even more. They have a history of doing that. I just wanted to keep you informed.

Hey 650-IS350 Thanks for the link! Those are Stunning! Where can I get some? The LFS don't have anything like that.

Some do, Some of 250G's and jazz's I don't think have come in yet. I've scoured a lot of online stores and a lot of them don't have what these guys have.

I'm wondering if some middle men or places are hording these. But i'm really curious to see how much these would go per polyp. All you got to look at is the per polyp price people are paying for the african blues that melt/pox?

I hear you, I bought two wild caught rocks of those African Blues (approximately 150 Polyps) . Three weeks later I had 5 surviving Polyps. Three on a frag disk and 2 on one of the original rocks. Yikes! Its been another month now and those at least are beginning to produce babies. Perhaps these and their offspring will be more hardy.
