I found a mantis - what should I feed it?

While going through sand & rock from TBS, I found a little mantis.

Do they accept prepared food?

What are they typically fed in captivity?

try feeding it some shrimp and a snail or hermit crab.

butter ,garlic and hot oil,just kidding.they will take just about any good frozen food ie shrimp, fish and crab.good luck

Mine like live guppies.

I feed mine a little of everything. Mollies, snails, pellets, mysis, ghost shrimp. He eats better than I do.
