I got flatworms

it wiped out my flatworm episode a few years back.


It gave me the heebie geebies when I saw them all floating around

flat worms dont usualy cause corals to close unless htey are blanketing them

I have experience with nudibranchs and I know it's not them. I was thinking it might be some of those "silver back pods"... I think thats what they are called. I guess there is a big debate going on in the zoanthid forum about certain types of pods that eat zoanthids. I have a bunch that I swear are about an inch long. Thats about the only thing I can think of at this point. Maybe flow issues or lights being on to long. Beats me...

Man, I'm glad my flatworms arn't black/brown gross little bugs like that. Mine are tiny and white with a greenish tint. I havn't seen many of them in a few days, so maybe since I'm wet skimming they're falling back... who knows.

Good luck matt finding out what it is. I've got a ton of those silverbacked pods, and some zoos that came in on liverock have died, but Jessp's "pink death?" zoos are spreading like crazy, and I see new zoo polyps in my tank here and there, so who knows.
