Nice little setup...keep it nice and tidy and it will bring you lots of enjoyment....but i can tell you since the reef bug has bit you it may lead to marital problems...lol

I'm sorta confused about your lighting? Do you really have 8 T5 HO bulbs over that tank or is it just the actinic, 6500 and dual 10K?

Is that 25 lb of live rock in the picture? It don't really look like any more than 10 lb.

Other than that, Really dig the 20L tanks. If you have a second 20L and 10g that is currently empty, it might not hurt to invest some time into using these. Would be nice to have the 20L drilled with the 10g as a sump.

I had a lot of issues with my 20L for the first few months. Everything seems to have finally stabalized now though. Putting an ATO on the tank will come in very handy. I have to manually top mine up constantly in large amounts. Atleast till I get a pump and decent container to set up my ATO.

The only beef I have with what you got is the Odyssea lamp. While not really bad on a 20L, You would be doing great to upgrade to a trio of Par3x LEDs. I've got odyssea t5 fixture with quality bulbs over my 20L in the bedroom and the lighting still seems to be lacking. The zoas stretch a bit for the most. It also gets compared to my 36g which has dual 150w HQI, dual Boostled PAR30 and 48 LED moonlights.

Not sure how you do water changes but your mention of your buckets makes me think of it so I'll mention it. The best option for draining water that I have found is to use PVC pipe with 2x 90 degree elbows so you have a "J" shape. The short side that hangs into the tank is about 12" long on mine. The other end that hangs down to the drain bucket is about 3' long and has a ball valve on the bottom so it is always full of water.

When water gets removed I simply hang the pipe on the front of the tank and into the bucket and open the valve to siphon water out. With the ball valve, it is always primed for the next time I use it. For putting water back in. I have a pump in my mixing bucket that a 1/2 inch hose fits on. This hose goes to a PVC pipe hooked to the side so I don't have to hold it while pumping water back in. I can concentrate on plugging in the pump to get it going and unplugging it to stop. You don't want to let anything linger here when the pump shuts off or the tank will siphon back into the bucket.

This method works really great and don't cause and disturbance from pouring water in.

The lights I was talking about were extra bulbs. 10 extra and the 4 in the fixture. I like the way you set up the wc system. The 25lb live rock question, I 've got the other half in the refugium. The wife gave the ok to do the other setup so I'll be piecing that one together over the next few months as money warrants. Slow process, that's why I was glad to have came across this system.
The next one will be drilled with the c2c system installed. Can't wait!!
