Look what i just found in MY OVERFLOW!!! Woohoo! :bounce3:

The last one... i think. Hear him clicking away every night and morning and I've seen him once or twice but he would never come out of the rocks. I don't know how he ended up in the overflow. I check it periodically, since it's so easy to see in mine and it's huge, because i get snails and stuff in there. Took a look today and couldn't believe my eyes. It was a bit of a fight to get him out, he was really upset at the net. lol

His fate is yet undecided.
Thought about putting him in my sump, but then the thought of trimming my chaeto scares the bejeezus out of me. :eek1:

I may just give him away like I did my other two.

i say toss a couple rocks in your sump(under the chaeto) and he will live under the rocks and then trim it like usual. i had a peacock in a 6g eclipse tank for awhile(bought it as a whole setup) and i would regularly stock my hand in the tank and all he did was run from it. as long as you dont chase the mantis around and keep him well fed you have no need to worry

Yeah, your fingers are typically only in danger if you are moving rock or poking around near hiding places. They don't like to come right out and attack your hand.

Did you do a victory dance/song? I usually do the 'Ding Dong the with is dead' from Wizard of Oz, (I don't kill them, it is just a satisfying ditty).
